This will result in brief inundation of these most vulnerable shore roads and adjacent properties. , "Wind Advisory" ...Wind Advisory now in effect until 6 am EDT early this morning... * locations...coastal Connecticut from New Haven east...and all of Suffolk County Long Island. * Hazards...strong winds. * Winds...north 20 to 25 mph with gusts up to 45 mph. * Timing...until 6 am. * Impacts...strong northerly winds may down power lines and a few trees...and make driving difficult on elevated roadways and bridges. Precautionary/preparedness actions... A Wind Advisory is issued when sustained winds of 31 to 39 mph... or gusts of 46 to 57 mph...are expected or occurring.
